Interim AI core team

With generative AI, organisations often face two questions. How does an AI idea become a project? And how is AI changing work, business models and processes? As an interim AI core team, we take on the role that a dedicated in-house team would otherwise fill. We work with you on the question at hand and hand over as soon as you can carry on yourselves.

You want to achieve something with AI, but it is still open what exactly, for whom and what it will take. Together, we turn it into a concrete initiative:

  1. Understand: We review what already exists and bring together the expectations of everyone involved.
  2. Specify: In workshops, we clarify goals and benefits, tasks and processes, and the data and technology required.
  3. Plan: Between sessions, we draw up a plan and review it with you: work packages, sequence, effort and costs, with all assumptions made transparent.
  • Outcome: a shared understanding of the initiative and a plan you can use to decide and start implementation. If you wish, we connect you with suitable implementation partners, for example for AI agents and automation, legal and data protection, or change management.
  • For: management, project leads and business units.

An AI mental model for work, leadership and workforce

How is generative AI changing your business model, your work and your processes? What does this mean for leadership, and how many people with which profiles will you need in future? We work through these questions with you in short sprints:

  1. Kick-off: Together, we decide which questions and assumptions to test.
  2. Sprints: In sprints of about one week, we test the assumptions and apply the findings to your organisation. After each sprint, you receive a brief interim update and give your feedback.
  3. Results meeting: We discuss the mental model with you and clarify what follows from it.

Your time commitment stays at a few hours.

The model draws on four context systems, that is, sources of knowledge we deliberately bring together:

  • KI-Denkraum: more than 1,300 podcast conversations about AI, analysed since 2023, with the experience of people who develop AI or introduce it in organisations.
  • Research: publications by the AI labs on how their systems are actually used, as well as research and studies on AI and work.
  • Your team: your feedback after each sprint, so that the model fits your organisation.
  • Us: experience from client projects and exchange with practitioners. We bring the context systems together, ask the right questions and review every result before it reaches you.

This way, you build on contextual knowledge we have been gathering and analysing since 2023, rather than starting from scratch.

  • Outcome: a well-founded mental model that reflects the current state of AI development, applied to the reality of your organisation. It supports upcoming decisions, for example on staffing and budget, and can be adjusted as developments shift.
  • For: management, strategy and HR leads.

What would you like to clarify?

Briefly describe where you stand and what is still open. In a first conversation of 30 to 45 minutes, we discuss which focus fits and what a sensible first step looks like. We agree on scope, duration and fees afterwards.

To enable us to develop a suitable concept and a specific proposal promptly afterwards, we use AI systems that comply with data protection requirements to record and transcribe the conversation.
